Morning Meditation...

Lest we forget what the Advent season is all about, here's a short meditation that came to me the other night before bed:

God speaks in littleness… His littleness… being born as a baby in the stillness of that Silent Night long ago…

He humbled Himself, becoming one of us, to die for us… to restore all things to their original purpose… so perfectly accomplished was this free gift, that He defeated death itself so that the gates of hell would never prevail against His bride, Holy Mother Church.
