First Masses as a Deacon

My Diaconal Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated at the church of Santa Maria del'Anima, the German national church in Rome, the celebrant being a good priest friend from Kentucky.  We've known each other since our earliest seminary days. 

Later in the week, we took a day trip to Assisi, and we had a private Mass in a crypt chapel of the Basilica of Saint Francis.

One of the most special moment was having a Mass at the Clementine Chapel- the closest altar to the actual tomb of St. Peter the Apostle, under St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican!
