Glenmary's Thanksgiving Celebration

During the break, I journeyed down to Glenmary HQ and then off to the Novitiate House in Hartford, KY.

It was sure wonderful to meet up with my fellow Glenmarian students: the pre-novices, novices, and theology students, as well as Glenmary sisters, priests, and brothers. I also met 6 young men who were on a mission trip exploring their vocations with Glenmary.

Thanksgiving dinner and Holy Mass were held in a wonderful lakeside lodge at a Girl Scout camp near Hartford. With 30 people around the table, and three cultures represented, it was a relaxing and fun time of music/singing, canoeing/kayaking, and fellowship. We also took time to reflect on the numerous blessings God continues to bestow on the Church, Glenmary and all of us.
