July Happenings

Wow, it is hard to believe that August is almost half over.  Summer here is sure passing quickly!

The last couple of weeks we've been having an unusual amount of rain, but thankfully, no hurricanes!


In my last post, I mentioned that I spoke at the spirit-filled Ave Maria Youth Conference.  Here's a picture of us seminarians in front of the vocations display.

At the end of July, we had our annual Diocese of Venice Seminarian Convocation, held at the peaceful and scenic Our Lady of Perpetual Help Retreat Center, on the banks of the Myakka River in Venice, FL.

It was truly a special time for prayer together and fraternity.  Below are some pictures that were taken of us.  Right now, we have 17 seminarians at various levels of training, studying for our Diocese, which is awesome, but we need more!  Keep on praying for vocations! :)
