A Special Feast

Today is the feast of Saint Mark, the Evangelist, writer of one of the Gospels.  Here in the Diocese of Venice in Florida, it is also special as he is one of our patron saints, just as he is for Venice, Italy.

 Additionally, today is special for another reason: that of the Major Litanies, a tradition that goes back to ancient times, imploring God's blessings upon the spring harvest.
